Mom will be going back to the doctor if she isn't better tomorrow.

I made the floral arrangement for the
altar yesterday, and brought it with me
to the Picnic in the Park, one of our
outreach programs for the community,
so I didn't have to worry about getting
up early and driving another 175 miles
(RT). My duty for yesterday was giving
out the plates and door prize tickets.
Since I was the only one who signed up
for that particular task, I was on duty
from 5 to 7, so I finally got my dinner
at around 7:30 or so. DH got tired of
just sitting around, so he went back to
the car at 6:00, and took a nap! Don't
think he'll be interested in doing this
again next year. According to our
count, we served over 200 plates,
not counting our workers.
My butt is tired - good thing I brought
a cushiion to sit on.

I've only been to IKEA once. I got lost and didn't think I would come out alive. It was like a one-way maze. Reminded me of when I got lost in FAO Swarz in NYC. Or when I got stuck going around and around driving on Dupont Circle. I haven't been back to any of these places.

LOL. I'm now very familiar with IKEA, but that first time, I totally get this. I didn't even buy a single thing my first time - I walked out in a daze.
