Love the North End restaurants! Haven't been in awhile, probably since DD was born. I used to work in the North Station area and often went to the North End for lunch or if traffic was bad I would get dinner before heading home.

Been fighting this for days, but I just brought my gross self home.
I took a pill for nausea, it's starting to take effect.
This stomach bug is no joke.

Medical day all day today, for DH.
Right at bedtime, all of a sudden
his shoulder went bananas. On a
scale of 1-10, he said the pain was
a 14, and he's not a complainer.
Up all night; got to the ortho first
thing this morning; he ordered an
MRI.
Ummm, no, our rinky dink country
hospital doesn't have the staff or
equipment to do an MRI with a pace-
maker. On our way home, we got a
call to come back at 2:30 for a CT
scan with contrast. We'll get a report
from the ortho, probably on Monday.
At least we have enough Tramadol to
take him over the weekend.
I've been binge listening to Criminologist Podcast about the Golden State Killer. I remember when he was striking, back in the 70's & 80's. Now I want to buy blinds for the windows on my garage. I'm scaring myself.

I know, right? I remember visiting my great grandmother in Modesto around the time he was there. We were a little freaked, making sure the windows and doors were locked and I think my father may have brought one of his guns with him.
When my mom worked for the PD she used to tell me all kinds of things. She had such a negative view towards society and trusted no one. Now she has LEOs as her neighbors and BFFs, and they tell her that if we knew what went on at night we would never step outside after sundown. (One is a helicopter cop who wears night vision to see what is going on below). She said bears and wildlife is the least of our concerns...
