Was getting some jam/jelly out for my waffle this morning and realized we have way more than necessary.
Most of it is homemade.
We have apple, apple butter, apple cinnamon, 2 different blackberry, grape, and I think I saw peach.
Anyway, last night's dinner did not sit well so I'm sipping sprite and hoping the waffle stays where it's supposed to.
Watching the hummingbirds is rather soothing.
The sun rose in glorious fashion, but it's a bit cloudy.
It actually felt a little fall like when I let Monster out earlier.
Hope everyone has a good day.

It was fall like for a couple days but appears to be on a warming trend. It's October so I am back to my usual work/telework schedule. September is always rough.
FWM, I read weeding as wedding. Wondered when you started renting your place out.
Thanks for the get well.

Good morning ! Hope you feel better lily, hello fnw, trudy and fwm.
I have a ton of homemade jelly that we keep getting as gifts, the problem is I only like grape. I'm not babysitting my little men today so I'm going to lunch with some friends.
And I lasted only 1/2 day in the office. My cold meds wore off and I used up all the tissues so came home. I am sure I annoyed people within earshot of my nose blowing and sneezing.

Well darn! I hope you feel better soon!
I'm lucky I can work from home. The flexibility as sure saved my PTO bank.

Better to be in the comfort of your own home when not feeling well. Hope you feel better soon!
I'm dealing with somebody's R22 today (code for, someone effed something up and now it's the company's responsibility to fix and pay for it). How I got wrangled into it I don't know, usually the person who messed up has to clean up their own boo boo.

Or was it a bad five minutes that you milked all day?

Vette, hope you get it fixed. I always get frustrated having to fix other people's messes.
Gosh, everyone everywhere seems to be sick.
Hope everyone gets better, fast.
Question, is SS still happening?

I feel ya. I spend most of my time cleaning up other people's messes. I spent over an hour undoing a $500 mistake someone else made
Wow! Passed a total of eight Sheriffs and
Texas State Troopers vehicles surrounding
one truck, with their guns drawn.
Several people on the ground, with two
officers holding them down.
Bet it was drug running, or coyotes trying
to bring illegals into our country.
Heavy rain today courtesy of Hurricane Rosa. Parts of the Valley are flooded. Saw a three car wreck at one of the flooded intersections. Thank God I drive a truck. I can pass through most flooded areas with no problem. I don't go anywhere I'm not 100% that I can pass safely. I was making DS giggle by hitting the pools of water and making waves.
Did you hear anything on the news about what happened, Momala?
Stay safe, chef. With my Jeep, if the water was over the curb, I would find a different way to go. She can handle 6 inches of water. I wouldn't risk going through anything deeper.

That's my rule too. I won't pass through water that's over the curb.
I also won't go through underpasses if it's been raining heavily enough for water to accumulate on the ground. A lot of the ones here flood easily and I'd rather go around than get dinged by AZ's Stupid Motorist law.
I think the key part to that law is that it pertains to roads that are "barricaded" due to standing water. I'm not sure anyone would blow through a barricade. Well, most level headed people wouldn't anyway.

You would think. I was watching the news with my grandma Tuesday morning. One of the ADOT guys was saying that he had to keep stopping people from driving around the barricade at the I17 and Peoria. The underpass was flooded but apparently large trucks and barricades blocking the road meant drive on through to some idiots.
A lot of the underpasses here have signs telling motorists to not enter when flooded. Not sure how effective they are. I won't drive through an underpass if it's been raining heavy enough for rain to accumulate on the ground because the middle is usually low enough to flood.
There's a similar law for people who ignore the heat warnings and get themselves stranded on the mountains. I don't know what it's called. Just have heard about it in passing.
