Windy, windy Monday

All of the trees and shrubs are bent

over with the wind.  Thankfully, no

rain - yet.

Great way to start the week.

And now the rain has started - and
it's sideways because of the howling
wind!

A good thing about rain in the Fall
is that we should have beautiful
bluebonnets in the Spring

Yay for the bluebonnets! Boo for the wind and sideways rain. No wind here but we have rain as well. It's so chilly and has been dark and miserable all weekend I had to bump up the heat a bit. I generally try to wait it out until November but couldn't take the chill any more.

Hope you feel better, trudy!

Momala, it's pouring here. And cold, 42*. I turned the furnace on before I went to bed last night. (It was 80* yesterday. This weather is goofy.)

I hope you feel better, Trudy.

I'm a wimp too, when it comes to cold, FS. wink

Shoot! I just looked out back. My lemon tree blew over! I'm not going out there to stand it back up until this rain lets up.furious

I hope everyone has a good day.smile

I have a bit of a scratchy throat myself. I am sure the boys shared their bug with me. At least they seem to be getting better.

Rainy here and no bluebonnets. However, our plants thought it was spring again and we have a lot of flowers in bloom. Pool closed Saturday so that makes me sad.

Yesterday we washed the windows and put the screens back up. We hadn't used screens in years because of the boys' allergies. Now that they don't seem to be a problem, I am looking forward to getting some fresh air in the house!

Typical fall day here. Had to wear my winter jacket because it's in the 30s in the morning. My car radio and blue tooth are strangely not working in my car. Luckily It's still under warranty.

I love the rain, but you kind of have to where I live.

Wind, I could DEFINITELY do without. My poor hair!

Wind is a steady 30-35 mph, with gusts
of 50+. My whole wood pile is soaked,
so I can't use the fireplace to take the
chill off. Guess I'll have to start up the
furnace.

To all of you enjoying a little wind and rain, I woke up to 5 inches of heavy wet snow yesterday. (gasp)

Trudy, hope you are better!

FNW, darn kids share everything, don't they.

FWM, SAVE the lemon tree!!!

Momala, how did the sale go for you this weekend. I wasn't around to catch any updates.

Lindley, you will have so much fun!!

IKWTDS, winter jackets should never come out before the outside temp reaches 0. biggrin

Vette, you would still look gorgeous in the wind!

FS, heat is a good thing. Remember that. wink

LL, what are your plans for the day?

We survived our weekend with all the grands! We also enjoyed a luncheon and family gathering midway between DS and our home yesterday, despite all the snow. Oldest DD and family joined us. Twelve at one table in a restaurant, is a big bunch! We sure had a good time.

Today the sun is shining and hopefully all that darn snow will be gone by nightfall. Sadly, it will still be here, sigh. Maybe tomorrow.

Hope everyone enjoys a great day!

Hello Czech. Thanks for asking. Just work, then go home, feed the kids and work around the house. Too much to do, too little time!

Czech ~
The sales were dismal. The people
down there don't have any money to
spend. Absolutely no one showed up
on Saturday. We'll try again next
Friday, then just walk away.

We have 2 more days of 70 and 71, respectively, coming up.

Then it's 60's and 50s.

We are supposed to get down to 39 this weekend.
