Mom is still in MICU, but the pain is only now and then, when she moves a certain way, and she is sore from laying so long.
We are hoping she can be moved today.

Good news. I have a new baby cousin. It would be my 5th cousin. A little girl named Henley.

Fun morning here. Already put out one fire. DS' insurance glitched and reassigned a bunch of people to different PCPs. Imagine my shock when I got a new insurance card for him last night with a doctor on it in a town 50ish miles away. Got that fixed. He's been with the same PCP since he was born. He likes her. Until he says otherwise, he's staying put. Their voice recognition system needs updated too. It thinks February sounds like March. Alrighty then!
ETA: Oh! DS graduated to Level 4 at his swim school yesterday! He is now a Seahorse!

Today was a pretty day. There is a small lake about an hour from here that we have never really explored, so we decided to hike some trails. The trail was shorter than we thought, then we walked down to the boat lauch and walked around the area. My dog was a muddy mess! lol But, she loves to be in the woods. She just got a nice sudsy bath so now she is chilling on her blanket!

The sun is shining and the snow is almost gone! Yay for warm weather! The farmers are so far behind in their harvesting, that I'm sure they are biting at the bit to get back into those fields! They will need two to three days of warm weather and wind to dry out the fields. It's a mess out there.
Today I'm relaxing a bit. I was going to post yesterday and got caught up in some drama that had to be delt with quickly. See breakroom in a bit.

Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
I had to laugh. There's a girl in his class who is about his age. She walked up to him, gave him a most stern look, and demanded to know what he was doing there. He looked at her and deadpanned 'waiting for swimming class just like you are'. I suppressed a snort. Yea, that's my kid. She must've approved though. They played together till class started.
The weather here is wonky too. October is generally warmish and it's been cold and rainy lately. Ah well, I'm enjoying it. Love the rain. Would rather have warmer temps though.
