DH joined the pool at his work. I think there were 40 people. I asked him to pick up a couple on his way home but we'll see. I have a lot of work to do and won't get a chance to slip out myself.

I am betting on a work group rather than an individual. If it is a work group it will be fairly easy to figure out the names of people in the pool, which sucks for them.
