We're expecting a Nor'easter this afternoon/evening. I have a meeting with the contractor this afternoon. I need a window in my bathroom and re-paint. And we've been putting off the basement spruce up and it's time to get back on his schedule for that.

I give mine $20 for cut and color. Really, she only works for an hour, although I'm there for two. Color has to sit for awhile so I don't count that. There is the shampoo/rinse woman who takes care of that part. I give her $5.00. I don't know if that's enough. I tend to slip her a little more around the holidays.
It's a he. Hair cut/color is free. He actually commands more. Huge client base. Known for color, extensions. The mob wives all get driven in from Boston. It is a riot.
I do! And the restaurant/bar attacted to it? We all go sit there with our color on. He groups his fun clients together. We all go hang. My favorite is C. Gay guy that is a riot. Loves the TV show Dallas. Calls me Miss Lucy. we are always booked together. My hairdresser just laughs away.

Loved going to the beauty school, I could get hair, nails, and face for $20.
Even back when my hair was below my butt long and took forever to do anything with.
It's still raining, a good soaking rain.

Yeah I've been to great clips, hairmasters, those types of places. They have no idea how to cut my hair. It turns out all crooked and jacked up. I've learned it's worth it (to me) to pay the big bucks

DD: I didn't know she had it on. She put it on in the car on the way to school...I told her she's not allowed to wear makeup to school and I don't want to see that again

DD: I wish I had too but I literally had no time. I was freaking out. Driving through the car rider line while trying to take off turquoise eyeshadow done by a 5 year old, might be the hardest most skillful thing I've ever done. Just sayin

I guess with my hair, when long it was super curly, it hid a lot of stuff.
Trimming the ends and a little thinning out was all I did for most of my life.
Now, it's nearly a buzz cut.

Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.

The wedding was fun. I danced a ton. Food was horrible, but this place is not known for their food which is why when I married 14 years ago I didn't hire them. But it wasn't about the food, it was so about the little tots I knew 20-30 years ago all grown up. Walk down memory lane.
