Barely! Actually, it was fun. The boys' friend was dressed as the Llama from FortNite. He was cute. He spent a month with his father making that costume. We walked the 'hood until the boys' legs wore out. This morning they want to go in late. LOL
Good morning. No trick or treaters here last night. Our town just doesn't do it any more. They congregate downtown enmasse while business and other organizations hand out candy. I miss the days when the kids trick or treated throughout the neighborhoods even when it was dark out. Lots of fun then.
Rain is on the move in here for later today. Imagine that. We've rarely gone more than two days without rain this Spring, Summer, Fall. Temps today are climbing into the low 70s. Azalea and rhododendrons are in bloom again.
Working a short shift today; just this afternoon. Thinking of putting some chicken in the crock with some sesame ginger sauce.
We don't get trick-or-treaters out here. I picked up pizza and watched movies.
I took today off. I've got time to use, and the big event this week got cancelled due to the weather. So I had a free couple of days. I have a big day planned, laundry, vacuum, goodwill run, errands. Oh, and I have to go into the office for an hour or so, customer service crisis that I need to handle, then sushi for dinner while I'm over in the city.
We went to a haunted house, it was really good my SS was almost in tears by the end of it. So after that we did a corn maze, and there was a haunted one and a regular one. I wanted to do the haunted one but I think SS had enough so we did the regular one.

The club used to host a Halloween party for the kids and would create a haunted house for the kids to go through. It was a lot of fun, but #2 was freaked out and never wanted to go back inside. I was with him, and there was a zombie girl that came up from behind that got him going then a guy who jumped out in front which put him over the edge but he quickly removed his mask so #2 could see who it was (a club employee we all knew). Still, #2 was through with haunted houses. That was a few years ago and I'm not sure he is ready yet to give them another try.
The dirt is washing out from under it in one place, it's been reported. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon.
Taking mom for an MRI in a bit.
Then back home to get some stuff done.
Thanksgiving in 3 Thursdays from now.
The rain should start soon.

DS filled up his bucket. DH and FIL took him around the neighborhood while I passed out candy. Only got 2 trick-or-treaters until the end when a group of teens walked up so 6 total for the evening. Cool costumes all around. There was 20something last year - babies through adults - wonder where they all went.
It's possible they were "bussed" in. When I lived in WV, I worked until 6 PM. When I got home, there were hoards of children running around, asking for candy before I could even get my key in the door. That was my first year there. I lived there another 5 years and never saw anyone in the years that followed. Not one.
We had 40 kids arrive for treats last evening. That's a good number for our small town. The kids were so cute! We gave a can of pop and a large candy bar to each child. Surprisingly, the Mt Dew was the most popular, followed by the grape crush. Candy favorites were kit-kat's and Hershey's. I need to remember that for next year.
Have a sick six year old today. Took him to the doctor this morning. He got shots.. Poor kid is really sick. He's sitting beside me, waiting for mom to get off work and pick him up.
The weather has been beautiful all week long. Perfect Halloween evening for all the little one's.
The community had the haunted house last weekend. That's always a fun time for the kids. The older ones tend to like it, the younger ones, not so much.
It's the 1st of November already! The rush is on for me..
Hope everyone has an awesome Thursday!

Well, we are under tornado warnings, VP Pence is in town, and we seem to be having a large area of cell and Internet outages and issues.
I'm starving. Should have grabbed a banana on the way out.
