I'm at work. It's been chilly here, but this morning was a really pretty morning. When I came out to come to work there was fresh snow, light fluffy snow, and it was still snowing lightly. There was no wind, it was very calm and peaceful. The moonlight and streetlights off the snow made it glittery looking. Nice way to start the day.
Started thinking about Thanksgiving coming up is less than two weeks! I need to get busy. My kitchen is a disaster, need to clean out my fridge to make room for Turkey and leftovers.
Ok started the design process for my master bath. Not sure when I will pull the trigger but time to get it done. Going back the design place next weekend and start the process.

It's going to be the most boring Thanksgiving for us, which is just how we like it. We won't even have SS, it's his mom's week. I'm not making a turkey, I usually make a ham instead.

And, I cleaned up his mess.

I don't like their fries, but I'm probably just not used to the oil they cook them in. Gives them a totally different flavor. Most people seem to love it, it's probably worth a try

Who on TG is familiar with In-n-Out burgers? I had to take a detour on the way home, and discovered that we have one.
Is it worth taking a detour for?
Me. I love In n Out. Especially their animal style burger and fries - 1000 island, diced grilled onions, and melted cheese. I like that the food is fresh and the fries aren't a salt lick. They can do a neopolitan shake if you like that sort of thing. The animal style offering and the neopolitan shake are both secret menu items. They also have a grilled cheese on the secret menu. Warning: the burger is messy.
Objectively, it's probably nothing to write home about. Those who rave about White Castle will rave about White Castle and the same goes for those who rave about In n Out. I've had both. Both are good but, completely objectively, both are just burgers. It's more of the following than anything else.
No In and Out here, we don't have a White Castle, either.
We have a Krystals, though.
Talk about gut bombs.

Did you know that Whataburger also
has their catsup, mustard, and
"creamy sauce" (for want of a better
word) on sale in H-E-B? I can take
or leave the catsup, but the mustard
is to die for! And the "creamy sauce"
is wonderful on sandwiches, and as
a salad dressing. Just enough spice
to perk your taste buds, but not
enough to make you say ouch!
As many times I've been to Texas while my parents were alive, I've never been to wattaburger, I've only been to in n out once and really like it. The fries tasted fresh. We have Culver's here, it's ok.
