Had a great weekend, one of our friends goats just had baby goats! G and I took Sweetness and Bruiser to see them. SOOOOO much fun. They are only a week old but loved jumping on the grandbabies. One of the mothers didn't make it, so the kids got to bottle feed them. It was so precious!
We close on the old lake house tomorrow...FINALLY! I'm glad to not have to keep it up during the winter.

Yesterday I took out my Christmas cookie recipe book and started choosing which ones I will make this year. DD said I am not allowed to make any until December. She also turned her nose up at my selection new outdoor decorations, insisting her choices were better, not fancy. No idea where she gets the attitude from.😒🤔

We celebrated youngest DGS's 4th birthday this weekend. We all had so much fun. So glad DS and his son's mom are on such good terms that they can have a joint birthday party for their son with both sides of the family AND their new boy/girl friends. I swear, they are the poster family for how a split couple should raise a child harmoniously. They are awesome parents.
Dodged deer and cops on my return trip. Gosh, it was bad.

Ready for Christmas? Oh hell no! Although I did buy the grands some ornaments for their trees. They all have quite the collection now for when they're moved out and on their own.

I'm still sick with a very nasty cold. Up half the night with coughing fits lasting a good 45 minutes each. Called in sick to work and went back to bed. I am not human at all today. I need to get laundry done though.
