We took the boys to see The Nutcracker yesterday. No moaning, they actually enjoyed it. I think it helped that there were a lot of children performing.
My shoulder has been bothering me. I suspected it was from carrying a shoulder bag that was too heavy for too long. So I lightened the load and switched shoulders. It's better, but still hurts when I move in certain positions. Ugh.
And #2 has a congested cough. It's always something.
I have some sad news to pass along. Corgi passed away yesterday. He got sick before thanksgiving with what we thought was a stomach bug and never really recovered. At 15, he just didn’t have the strength to fight it off.
Had the grandbabies all weekend. We decorated and watched Christmas movies while eating popcorn and drinking Hot Chocolate. And when they woke up, their ELF was on the mantle, riding a reindeer!!!!!

DD14 is sick, fever and nausea. I am having an allergic reaction to something and it is making my eyes itch and water. It is not allergy season so I don't know what it is.

The neighbor behind us used to burn every weekend. It was horrible.
One Saturday I went out to the washroom and saw him starting a fire in his backyard.
All 3 of my kids and my mom was sick with a stomach bug, and the smoke from his fire always seemed to blow our way.
So I went to him and told him I knew it was his yard and his right to burn stuff, but that all my kids and my mom were sick, and the smoke was blowing into our yard and in our house. I told him I'd be grateful if he wouldn't burn anything for a day or two. Thanked him, wished him well, and came back to the washroom.
I looked out the window and he was putting the fire out. with both dirt and water.
You know he has burned things only a handful of times since, and that was 15 years ago.

Went to see my daughter and grandbabies for a few days, the little girls decorated my room with paper snowflakes they made which they placed all over the floor to make it look like it snowed, Disney princesses since we went to Disney world and a sign that said meme on the door💕
