It takes up over two normal lanes
of traffic, and is longer than a
football field.
It can only travel 1-5 miles per
hour, and has major difficulty on
hills. With two semis pulling it
in front, and one pushing it from
behind, it is a major headache
for traffic trying to get around it.
It is the base for a new generator
at a local power plant. It has
taken six days to travel what I
could do in under an hour.
36 axles - each with 8 tires. So
far they've had to replace over
100 of the tires, for under 100
miles. The transport company
is the same one that moved
Challenger and Endeavor.
