Good Afternoon!

Went to brunch with a few friends, I am sooo stuffed. Perhaps some more clothes purging today and that may be it!  I really need to get some exercise.  Blech

I booked our summer vacation. Cruise to Boston, Maine, Nova Scotia.

Maine!  Love the coast line of Maine.  Oh when are you going?

Afternoon!

Sounds like brunch was yummy, I need exercise, too, but it's wet, rainy, and cold.

That vacation sounds great.

I'm washing clothes, cooking, and cleaning.

It's all I ever do.

I'm also trying to plan some projects for warmer weather.

Dreaming of Spring.

Early August.  What will the weather be like?

Hot in Boston, quite tolerable in Maine.  Cool in NS.

Sounds great! The boys wanted to go somewhere cool so Maine and NS would be good.

Well. I just made some really good, clean the pipes, chili.

Opened up my sinuses, but good.

wants to volunteer to be a
judge ?

I will, too.

As long as you don't put any beans in it.wink

GACK!

Beans, of any kind, have no place in chili!

JMHO.

Just, gack! cry

I am so with you FWM on the beans.  If no beans, and corn bread provided I will judge!

How? Put our recipes on here and others make it themselves?

That might be fun.

But I don't really have a recipe.

I use the palm of my hand or the lid or just eyeball things.

I could probably figure it out, though.

My cooking method is taste and adjust.

I use beans.

Different beans, depending on what I have.

Dark kidney today, I love black beans, not a fan of pintos in chili.

Competition chili, as per both CASI
and ICS requires NO beans, which
are considered a "filler". No beans,
no rice, no pasta. (Chili Appreciation
Society International, and International
Chili Society).

I guess we'd give our recipe, and let
you cook it. Or I could say just go
out and buy a box of CASI chili mix
in the stores! But use the short cut
method - the "long" version just
isn't worth the time and extra
steps.

I'll judge! I love chili - with or without beans!
