My group did 1 1/2 hours.  Felt great!  The organizer wasn't feeling well so had to leave.  Since I knew the trails I lead everyone.  Nice day for it.

Having a bite to eat then I will take Sonny out.

Happy Sunday all!

Sounds like a good time, IKWTDS.

Doing the same thing I do everyday.

That sounds like fun, IKWTDS!

Hi Lily!

I'm making ribs for dinner. The kids are coming down.

My Mom is still in the hospital. The doctors want her to go to a rehab center when she gets out, just to make sure it's safe for her to go back home.

Just waiting for the latest update from Trudy.

Have a good day, everyone!

A rehab period is a good idea, FWM.

I know your mom wants to be as independent as possible.

Good afternoon everyone!

Looks like a slow day here. It's Sunday so that's okay.

IKWTDS, your hike sounds like a lot of fun. Glad you can do that with a nice group.

FWM, yum, ribs! Enjoy! Yup, rehab sounds like a good idea for your mom. Glad she is recovering.

Lindley, DH and I have that same lazy feeling for the day. He's still in nap mode, lol.

Lily, normal routine is a good thing.

Getting up the nerve to dig out the sewing machine. I have so many projects that I'm scared to look and be forced to make a decision. What to do first!

Hope everyone enjoys a wonderful Sunday free from worries. I can dream can't I? lol

That sounds like fun, Czech! I vote ranking your projects by fun-factor instead of anything else. Enjoy what you love!

Hmm. Today and yesterday are total wastes. I'm so used to working during the day that I don't know what to do with myself when I'm off! I could clean the house, but that's boring. I'd rather binge-watch Netflix than clean, but that's not a good way to spend a day.
What do you guys do when you're suddenly faced with free time?

During the winter, as little as possible. Or sew. biggrin

It's okay to binge watch Netflix occasionally. Go for it. smile

I'm leaning toward the jellyroll race quilt. I absolutely love to make that pattern. I'm adding red flying geese to this new one, base colors are grays. Adding a plush backing for warmth. The kids will fight over this one too.

If I'm missing for a few days, you will know why. wink

Would it solve the problem if you just sent it to me?

I clean or fold laundry while binge watching. Helps me feel productive and not so much a slug.

Hi everyone! Beautiful day here! We walked around downtown. It was packed, everyone was enjoying the sunny 70 degree weather. I have some laundry to finish up. That's all I'm doing besides make supper and pack lunch for tomorrow.

Wow, I weighed myself this morning and I am like thirty pounds over my ideal weight. I feel like crap. We are heading to Las Vegas in February, hopefully that will motivate me to make some changes.

I know one thing I need to do is start leaving my debit card at home, because it's just too tempting to buy food from the cafeteria at work. That will save me money AND calories.

I pack a feed bag for work.  I spend no money except coffee.

I can use my badge in the cafeteria and gift shop. Our cafeteria has tons of unhealthy choices. Gift shop is soda, chips, candy. I'm trying to resist using my badge. Last year I spent $1,000 between the two places. But in my defense some of that was jewelry. The manager of the gift shop gets a lot of cute earrings and bracelets.

Oh gosh, I don't even want to think about how much I spend. I wish we had worthwhile stuff like jewelry!

No ****!  I love the jewelry!  DS gave me 3 pair of absolutely gorgeous sapphire earrings and one topaz for bday and xmas. One sapphire pair looks like Princes D's rings and is pair is encased in a gold setting.

Jesse used part of his Christmas money to buy a small deep fryer.

He and my dad just spent an hour deep frying donut holes and fries.

And have made plans to deep fry something daily.

The manager even gets purses and jewelry that are priced over $150. Things like that one can break up into several payroll deductions. It's so dangerous!

When I was working, I would make
6 portions for 2 people, and box up
the four portions for lunch during
the week for DH & myself. This
worked very well for quite a few
years. Never stopped to figure
out how much we saved, but I bet
it was a lot! Plus I had control of
what we ate.

You could binge watch the new show "Tidying up".  It's about cleaning.  Doesn't that count?

I used to do this too, but now that there is no microwave to warm food at lunch I've had to stop.  I try to bring sandwiches but whew.  That gets boring super fast.

Tig, CrockPot makes a lunch warmer mini crock.  You put your lunch in it, plug it in and it will be warm by lunch.

Wow - that's cool. I wonder if it smells while it is warming. I think that the reason that we don't have a microwave is so that our little office doesn't smell like food when clients come in.

I don't know!  I'll have to open mine up and try it and let you know.

I'll put really smelly food in it to test it.

Vette, I bought mine when they were running a special - 3 for $30.  I gave two as gifts and kept one.
