Dreary and chilly here. Just dropped MIL off at the airport. Nine days off and not a moment to myself. 😒

Stay warm, Lindley.

That sucks, SB.

35 and raining here.

Watching The Walking Dead.

It's a boring day.

Just got back from cleaning out the remaining items at Mom's and then did some cleaning. It's all set for the closing this week! That's a monkey of our backs.

We enjoyed our church service this morning followed by a potluck lunch and a movie for the families. A wonderful day of fellowship.

Have the two youngest grandkids. DD's middle son is playing basketball all afternoon in a town 65 miles away. DD's oldest DD is sicker than a dog right now. Her older brother is watching over her. I don't care if she is almost 15 (in two weeks), she should not be left alone. She didn't want to expose grandpa so she wanted to stay home. We did take lunch from church over to them. DGS will eat, but I doubt DGD will. She sounds awful. She was so sick yesterday that she didn't attend the Winter Ball the school put on for the high school. Now that's sick. Her brother wouldn't go out of sympathy. Good brother IMHO. I doubt that she will be in school tomorrow. Gosh, she's sick.

SB, nine days off and you didn't get a single minute to yourself? GAH! I would be pissed. Enjoy the evening if you can.

IKWTDS, glad that job is done. It's always hard to close out our parents homes. Not one of my favorite jobs in life.

Lindley, glad everything was canceled. Falling on ice is not fun. Stay safe and warm.

Lily, you are not much warmer than here! We are at 12 degrees today. Snow is on it's way for tonight here.

Hope everyone is enjoying a nice relaxing day. Tomorrow is Monday..sigh

 Sorry your granddaughter is sick.

As for the cold, if I ever win the lottery, I'm buying a beach house big enough for everyone to come stay at in the winter months.

We’re having our annual ‘severe winter snowdtorm’. You can still see long grass through the snow and I saw some guy sweeping (that’s right. Sweeping) his driveway.

Bus just fishtailed because we don’t know what roads and salt are for. And the trains are running intermittently because of ‘snow related issues’. Apparently the doors don’t work in the snow ...

Because we can’t build a train that withstands moisture.

Dozens of busses stuck at various points in the city because they couldn't get up hills. Because we can't figure out how to plow stuff.
