didn't hear me calling him, and I
couldn't reach my phone. Took me
almost 2 hours to get over to one of
the chairs, where I could get enough
leverage to get up. Boy, am I sore
this morning.
My girlfriend came over this morning
to help me clean up after doing the
prep work for making shrimp creole
for 40+ men from the Lodge. She's
my "ace in the hole", so now I can
lie down with heating pads on my
back, knees, and shoulder. I really
didn't need this today.
Sheesh Momala! I hope you're okay and heal quickly. Damn!
LL, please be careful and take shelter. The Jeep will be okay but I know the feeling of "nothing better happen to my Jeep!" Keep us posted as to how you are.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
Took me nearly half an hour to shove a foot of compact wet snow off my car and get everything scraped and swept. By the time i was done i had boxed myself in and had to shovel out the snow htat came off the car so that I could move.
We have the flu here. Took Miss Bethany, our bleeder, to the doctor this morning with a temp of 103.7. She's positive for influenza type A. Also took oldest DGS, he has the croup and will be treated for the flu as well due to exposure and already being ill. Poor DD, all these sick kids to take care of. Oldest DGD was sick all weekend too. The middle boy is showing signs of getting something too. That leaves one still healthy. Won't last long, I'm afraid. The flu shot didn't do a thing for those kids.
I'm exhausted. Been fighting a tummy bug and taking care of kids and it's taking a toll on me.
DH isn't very hopefully of us avoiding the flu either. He's such a spoil sport, lol.
On an up note, the weather is better! Up to 16 degrees today! And the sun is shining!
