Ok, y'all.  Today, DD15 is going to get her learner's permit.  If you are in, or planning to come to Georgia, you may want to stay off the roads!

It's not so bad.

They tend to do better than we imagine.

Empty parking lots and back roads. The key to sanity.

Still raining here.

Looks like we will not get snow or ice. YAY!

Going to hit the Dollar Tree, then get groceries.

Ya'll ever try the curbside pick up any where?

Never tried curbside pickup. I think I would wonder how they knew I was sitting outside? If you do it, let us know how it worked out.

We had some ice and a dusting of snow last night. More is expected tonight, and Sunday evening. Schools were on a two hour delay today. Fortunately it all melted quickly and the roads were fine.

I want to try Walmart pickup. You get a time slot and a parking spot number. Then I guess you text when you get there.

I made the same mistake tonight going to the Grocery store, 1st of the month, two snow storms over the w/e, etc.  Sigh....

LL, love the title of the daily! Our oldest DGD turned 15 today and she plans on getting her learners permit as soon as possible. That will make two grands driving for us. Where does that time go?!

So tired of the cold weather! I think I've been repeating that statement for three months now. Expecting four inches of new snow tomorrow after a morning low of -9. March is the same as February, which was the same as January..you get my drift.

Stay safe and warm out there folks. Hope you each enjoy a great weekend too.

I moved over 2,000 miles to get away from
snow and ice - and yet, here we are expecting
30* and 32* over the weekend ! Yikes !!!!!

DH is raising watermelon seeds in seed starter
kits - we have over 20 little darlings poking
their heads into the warm (indoor) weather.

We'll put them outside when the weather
improves.
