I'm an idiot. I thought I'd booked a training for the 4th & 5th of this month. Turns out it isn't until APRIL 4th and 5th. Oh well. I have a bunch of free time now.
Morning! Have to go to work 6-9, head over to jury duty, then possibly back to work. A coworker had an emergency and is out of town. She needed someone to take her call. I wouldn't do it for just anyone. Plus now the department is super short with both of us out. On a Monday. Sigh...
God morning everyone! Really cold here today, at least 6 degrees. Feeding the boys their breakfast and watching the grinch again. Can’t wait till oldest is tired of it.

I actually had a nice surprise when I went out earlier to clear the snow from my driveway. My neighbor had already cleared the 2 foot wall of snow that the street plow causes. So nice! Made my day!!!

We used to have a neighbor who had a plow. He would randomly plow driveways for fun. Not everyone's, he would alternate. It was nice! Sadly, he moved away last year.
Ugh, just remembered we have a fat Tuesday pot luck at work tomorrow. I didn't plan on bringing anything because I was unsure about jury duty. I don't have a case till Friday so I'll be there

Half the food will be sweets. I grabbed a box of dirty rice and a pack of andoui? sausage. I'm on call tonight so hopefully I can get everything cooked and cool enough to throw in the fridge quickly in case I get called in.
Hard freeze is in store for us in south Texas - 8+ hours of 32* or less. Ugh!
And yet Thursday is supposed to be in the 80's!
I swear - Texas is the only place where you need both the heat and the A/C in one day!
Nope. We do that here, in North Georgia, too.
