I had a headache and laid down around 5pm Sunday afternoon. Wasn't planning on going to sleep, but I did.
I had the angry-ist 45 minute nap in history.
Now, it's 2:30 am and I can't sleep, AND the headache is trying to come back.
Oh well.
It's nice out. 52 and the frogs are singing.
It hasn't rained in 24 hours, either!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday.

The sun is shining AGAIN! Yay! It may get into the 40's today. Two days in a row above freezing!
DS wants to send DGS to us on Thursday. Trying to talk him into tomorrow or early Wednesday morning. We are due for rain and snow again. Hope to get DGS here before the snow hits again. DH is more worried about flooding. Yeah, possibly up to 3 inches of rain before changing over to snow. With all the snow we already have, it could be a disaster in the making. There are already flood warnings out for the ice jams on the rivers. Hmm, sounds like Spring, lol. I will take it.
Hope everyone has a great Monday. :)

Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
Finishing the laundry and waiting till later to mop.
This time change is really screwing with me this time.

I think we have a wild canary or 2. I keep hearing them, but haven't actually seen them.

The new neighbors next door have two dogs which they keep in the yard during the day. They bark every time someone walks past. It drives me crazy. Our lots are a little over half an acre, so we aren't close to each other. Yet I can still hear them. I'm off to see if there are any laws about this.....

My neighbors 2 German Shepherd s barking used to drive me nuts until I realized they are my free security system. They have no physical fence just an electronic one. Really helps to protect my property.

So, Rubio has put forth a resolution to make Daylight Saving Time permanent. I guess that is a good alternative to abolishing it. Let's just quit messing with the clock!

Although I'd rather it be the fall time that is permanent.
I like having daylight at 6am.

I hate the time change more and more each year. My body doesn't like it.
My neighbor has yappy dogs that bark at anything. Hours on end. But, they do bring them in at night.

I miss my unemployed neighbors that used to live behind me. They sat on the back deck hours on end. Great security.
As long as the neighbors keep their dogs in their yards, I don't care.
I'm taking me something to help me sleep tonight.
I have a doctor's appointment in the morning, can't be late for that.

That is what I love about my doodle, she isn't a barker. If she is in the house someone comes up the driveway like a UPS truck, she will jump up and bark in a low throaty bark. Other than that, she doesnt bark. She doesn't bark outside or yip.
We have a neighbor that likes to leave their dog out to bark also.
I don't mind dogs barking to a purpose, like playing or warning or something. I mean, they need to talk too. But incessant barking is not my favorite.
Our nieghbors' dogs bark as soon as Buddy and I go out back. It's annoying. They bark sooooo much at my dog. So, I can stop the barking by bringing my dog in, but why should I have to?

My neighbor had two rat dogs that would bark non stop. Luckily they died. As soon as I came home. Bark, bark, bark. All night long. Forget it if I had someone over laughing or talking. The barks got louder.
The neighborhood feral cats sit outside neighbor's fence and bathe while the dogs bark away. They bark at the wind. Anyone who may be outside. A leaf. A bug. You name it. Yipyap. Yipyap.
There is a black one that really takes pleasure in it. DD gets all huffy about the barking. I find it rather amusing when the kitties just do their thing while the dogs go nuts.

There is a vote going on here too. To just leave it as it is and just stop with the changes.
The nosy neighbor my grandma had when we lived in CA had two pomeranians that would yap day in-day out. She blamed their incessant barking on my dog. I lived with my grandma. One day she caught me earlyish in the morning as I was going in the house and dressed me down about how my dog's barking woke her up and it's good I'm home so I can shut him up. "Huh. That's an awfully loud bark. He's currently at the vet getting neutered. *sticks paper from vet in her face, lets her read it* Toodles, Nancy! *goes inside, shuts door*" Never heard a peep out of her again.
My dog wasn't a barker. He was my doorbell and my protector. But he would not bark for no reason.
