I'm really excited! Both Greg and his sister Kim are running in Boston today! (My nephew and niece. Some of you might remember that Greg ran it last year.)
Jared and Gen Padalecki are running in the marathon.
It's a chilly 48 right now.

Our whole family enjoyed a wonderful weekend away. Lots of friends, food and good times enjoyed by all. It was so good to finally get a break away from our area. Sigh, it was over too soon.

Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
Dinner is started, ham steaks, boiled cabbage, carrots, and some mashed potatoes.
For some reason, three birds, 1 of our hummingbirds, have hit the front window today.

I agree, FWM. The day started out great and then received a dampening blow. Life does go on though. We have life, family and friends and that is the most important part of any given day.

My bro has run it and my SIL. Took SIL about four hours each time. Bro not so long. But I agree with SB just doing it is a great accomplishment.

Sometimes you're the windshield, and sometimes you're the bug.
My mom started doing marathons in her 40's. My dad eventually joined her. Together they did them all over the country until my mom got sick in her early 60's. I have so much respect for those who train for these races. It's so much hard work.
