Waiting for DH to load the truck up -
we're going fishing for perch for him
to take when he and his son go down
to Choke Canyon for catfish. We're
due for some heavy rain tomorrow,
so I hope it clears up for the weekend.
I just got back from my morning walk. Overcast and humid here. We're supposed to get some rain later in the day. But the weekend is supposed to be dry. (Wouldn't that be a nice change of pace! LOL!)
I need to look at lawn mowers online, and read some reviews before we buy another one. (We bought one a couple of weeks ago, and Wayne hated it. So, I looked at him and said, "Let's give it to Conor, and find one that you like." So, that's what we did.)
Good afternoon! Baby boy is asleep and little man is sitting on my lap. Really pretty here, so excited to see my dd and family , they will be here Friday and stay for a little over a week :)
Beautiful day here, lots of sun, the trees are leafing up, perfect temps.
Finally got a haircut.
Trying to decide what to make for dinner.
And there's is a wasp in the house.
Happy Wednesday.

GG was tough with the repair guy for the fridge. The guy needs to order parts. GG said if it wasn't fixed he wants it replaced. Everything had to be thrown out.
Good luck with deciding on dinner, Lily. Sometimes, I think that's the hardest part.
Bummer on the food, Trudy.
Severe weather is heading our way. (The joys of living in Tornado alley.)
I moved stuff around in the garage, so I think both cars will fit. They are talking baseball sized hail tonight and possible tornadoes.
Conor can't put Belle in his garage, so we ran to Home Depot and bought some bags of mulch. He's going to put them on the windshield and hood to protect them.
Fingers crossed that it misses us, but it's best to be prepared.
Aaron and I just had a hamburger, Jesse said he ain't hungry, and mom and dad are out doing whatever they are doing.
I've got bees and yellow jackets eating from my hummingbird feeder.
That is not what I want.

My nephew's Navy Graduation is this week, and he has received the Navy Club of the United States of America Excellence Award.
Very proud of the young man he has become.

That's both good and a bit nerve racking at the same time, IKWTDS.

We've got both vehicles under the
carport, and all the seedlings brought
in from the porch. Two safety candles
are burning, one on the kitchen counter
and the other in the hallway. We
fully expect to lose power when the
storm hits. Nothing we can do but
batten down the hatches and wait
it out.
Both KENS-5 and KSAT-12 have us
under severe weather warnings -
and we are in line for a direct hit.
The wind has already started.
Please think good thoughts for
all of us in the path of this storm.
The wind hit us at 1:05, and then the
rain started coming down sideways.
My 8-foot bushes are almost flat on
the ground. We're already gotten
over an inch of rain, and it is only
1:17! That's a lot of rain in a very
short time.
Hope you'll are safe, FWM. I know
what you're going through.
DH is out, inspecting his tomato plants.
We had blooms on all 168 of them as
of last night - hope they all survived.
As of 2:30, we'd dodged the bullet.
Hail, up to golf ball size, hit the north
and west sides of San Antonio, but
we were spared.
Thank you, all our good Geeks, for
all your prayers and good thoughts!
Snow/salt/age.....other buildings in the area are experiencing the same thing. I figure same builder and he probably cut corners when he built them back in the 70's..
