Woke up with my right eye almost swelled shut, and draining. I look like I've gone a round with Ali.
Nothing left of yesterday to clean up, finished that last night, but mom made breakfast and left it for me to clean up.
I would love a vacation, but there isn't time.
Between mom's 2 surgeries, dad's outpatient procedure, and uncle's surgery, I ain't going no where but doctor appointments and rehab.
Happy Monday.

Lily, whatever happened to your eye? Stung by a bee or something? Accidently hit it with your hand, etc? Sure hope it gets better soon.
My shin is evidently healed. Doctor said no more visits; just bandage lightly for a few more days and then leave it bare. Looks great and is a relief to have it back to normal. Doesn't look like it will be much of a scar either but no one looks at my legs anyway. LOL

Beautiful warm sunny day here.
My eye? About 2 weeks ago I was outside, and my eye started itching, so I scratched it. Well. I didn't think about all the pollen on my hands.
I've got 3 styes in and on the same eye.
One inside the bottom lid, one inside the top lid, and one in my lash line on my top lid. All three are towards the inner.
If they don't get better in a day or two, I'll have to go to the doctor.
But it seems like the warm compresses are helping.
Glad your leg is better.

It's been really bad for me too. Had so much fluid and inflammation behind my ears I was awarded with steroids and antibiotics. Still feel like my head is under water.
The best thing I ever got for allergies was a single shot of Kenalog. My doctor used to give me a shot of it around this time. One injection. You have to find an "old school" type doctor now to get it. My doctor retired so if I needed it, i would be hard pressed to find a doctor who would give that. A coworker was having problems and I told her what worked for me and she was able to get a shot of this from her doctor. It isnt' something they ever seem to offer. And, one shot usually lasts you thru the summer. It sure beats taking pills every 6 hrs, etc. Might be something to look into.
The problem with my eye is the allergic reaction caused the teeny tiny pores to be clogged, and develop an infection.
