Baby's has a strong, 166 heart rate. Yay.

The only thing that is concerning is Caitlyn's thyroid. It's at 35. That's extremely high. It should be no more than 4.

The doctors are slowly getting her dosage up to what it needs to be.

Thank you fwm, I believe either the storm missed this area or I slept through it.

Since my dil's mom and sister is arriving today I won't be babysitting for at least a little over a week. I can't believe my little baby grandson is going to be a year old Tuesday. We are celebrating his first birthday Sunday.

Extremely busy with work today. I've been asked to take on another program, one that will come to a close in the next 3 months. That makes 3 programs. OT is not going to end anytime soon.

But, honestly, I hope it waits until after Thanksgiving, like, the day after.

That way the baby can build some immunity before family get togethers.

We host for every holiday, and there are 15 to 30 at each event.

That's a lot of grimy hands for a fresh newborn, you know?

I can understand that, it's not uncommon for a first time mother to carry past the due date. Is Caitlyn going to find out if it's a boy or girl?

Your namesake collected another half inch this morning. I emptied her out again. Waiting for the next line of storms to hit. It doesn't look like it will be very bad. smile

On the bright side, the morning rain was over by 10:30. So I got to take Jessi and Cate out bumming. We hit Walmart and Costco, and then went to lunch. It was fun! smile

I checked off a long to do list of administrative personal stuff. Yeah worked 12 hours bur from home so had the time.

I found out yesterday that there was an old game subscription on my CC that I had for DD long ago still being charged. I disputed it last night and it has been removed. Also yesterday I found out that my car insurance still had DS carried on the policy and that I was being charge $100/month for that. Geesh. DS got me the his proof of insurance for the past 5 years so I should see a credit for all that.

Glad I am paying more attention to CC charges. I am good at the cash accounts but don't always scrutinize the CC's. I am doing that now.

How fun, my daughter doesn’t want to find out as of right no. I did buy a diaper bag fill with blue and Pink pacifiers and a Mickey and Minnie cars.

Finally back home from the senior
center. We had to take EVERYTHING
down, and put it away under lock &
key, because the Opery is going to be
using the building tonight. All of the
coffee pots & fixings, all of the reading
material, all the tablecloths removed
(and sent home to be laundered), all
the food stuffs moved to one side of
the huge refrigerator, so the caterers
can come in and do their thing.

Fortunately, there is a (non-working)
walk-in ice box where we can store
everything, but what a pain to have to
come in (early) tomorrow morning,
and put it all back out. And we will
have to do this all over again two
weeks later because the building has
been rented out for a wedding, and
the florist/decorator needs two days
for everything. And another wedding
the following weekend.

Yuck. They sure do make the seniors
jump through hoops.

My passive-aggressive clinic director has posted the 'rules' for our photo shoot.

1. 'Darken your eyebrows more than usual' (won't be hard ... I don't darken my eyebrows at all)
2. 'Wear extra powder so you don't look shiny'
3. 'Wear extra lipstick - it looks better'

Now, I can see how she would like these things, but they are all things that she does daily. She's pretty much given direction to look like her. No actual photoshoot information (highlighters, low lighters, contouring). There are also no instructions for the male team members. I am curious if the boys will show up with darkened brows and powdered faces? I'm sure that there will be no lipstick involved. So, since the only requirements are brows, powder and lipstick I think that I will do this ...

Well, that kind of defines her in general, but in this case it is a headshot for our website, so I get it. But there is more to a headshot than eyebrows, lipstick and powder.
