Bottling the wine later, meeting friends at the place and probably lunch after. I then have gardening to do. Lots of planting. Will probably mean a few trips to Lowes. Oh well.

Good morning! Glad you made it home with no problems fwm, do you make your own wine ikwtd? Hope you enjoy lunch with your friends.
Had grandson spend the night last night and woke up with a light shining on my face at 6:30 this morning. He was up and ready for breakfast. We read books, hide n seek and I talked him into watching G.I.joe so I can sneak in a cup of coffee before we go outside. He has been such a good boy💕
Hope Wayne heals quickly, and glad you made it home, FWM.
Enjoy your grandson, LINDLEY.
Have fun in the dirt, IKWTDS.
Just another day here, but it's a beautiful day.

Thank you, Good Geeks! There was a lot of blood, but thankfully it looked worse than what it turned out to be.
We made a Costco run. And, for our next trick, we're going to load up Wayne's bike, and take it to the bike shop for a proper tune up. And get the handle bars straightened out.
What a day.
It's pretty here, too, Lily! Enjoy it, before God sends more rain!
Wine bottled, one gardening is done except for mulch. I have one Flamingo in it for DD, neighbor's opinion is a need two more. I think they are right.
Off to grocery shop now. Tomorrow is about doing one more planting.
You ALWAYS need more than one flamingo! They are social creatures!

Lindley that light in the face would freak me out. The GSK used to shine a light in his victim's face to wake them up before he tied them up and raped them!

Wow! no I knew it was him since he went to bed with his flashlight. Can I ask a stupid question? Who was GSK?

I'm guessing FNW is referring to the "Golden State Killer". I'm sure she will let us know if I'm right.

Ok, thank you, I forgot about him. I remember the zodiac killer growing up in Ca. He was never caugh.
No, Zodiac was never caught and is most likely dead. The Golden State Killer had many names, and he was caught last year through DNA. He was the Ransacker, Original Night Stalker, and a few others, then his crimes escalated to murder and got the GSK moniker. The problem was he originated in the Sacramento area but moved south and in those days, law enforcements were not linked to each other and his MOs were never shared, so PDs didn't link the crimes to one individual. I heard a very good account of it all on the Crimonology podcast. They covered the Zodiac as well.
I vaguely remember the GSK because my great grandmother lived in Modesto and when we visited, I remember my father insisting we close and lock all the windows at night when we slept. Then I remember Ramirez, aka the Night Stalker, too (not to be confused with the original night stalker who was the GSK). I believe he struck in Arcadia, where I have a lot of family.

You seem to have ties to a lot of killers, hmmmm.
