I've made a list of the final items I need to buy for the Ireland trip. Which reminds me, my brother and his wife are picking up the tab for accommodations for all guests at the castle including food. Blown away.

I got caught in a surprise rainfall this afternoon on my way to work. Like, saturated in under 6 minutes. Then nothing. Was it supposed to rain today? No. So did I have an umbrella or raincoat? No.

We weren't supposed to get any rain
until this evening. The heavens opened
up just as I was getting back in the
car from paying the property taxes.
In 3 minutes, we had water over the
curb, cascading down the street.
That's how cars get swept away.
5 minutes later, it was all over.

Yeah, all tours are planned. Including our pre castle stay. The kids and I are arriving in Dublin a couple of days before hand and will be doing Dublin City stuff.

FINALLY ! My computer is up and
running again. When it started to
take 8-9 minutes to log on, I knew
I had problems. My computer Guru
didn't have any time off to come
help me until Monday evening.
After spending 3 hours trouble-
shooting, she had it do a diagnostic
and optimize, and let it run over
night. It was still running Tuesday
morning, so we let it do its own
thing until this evening. Whew!
Much faster, and all it cost me
was $20 and a watermelon!
(The melon was from DH's field
of 5 acres of melons!) Wish I
could clone her - she's wonderful!
