I have today off and I have a ton to do. Tonight is DD's 8th grade formal dance and afterwards is have friends over. Later this afternoon I am bringing her to have her hair done and she wants it straightened.

We have a busy weekend ahead of us...I'm already tired thinking of it. And #2 wants a party for his birthday but #1 doesn't....which is fine, I get it. So we'll have a few boys over to swim, grill something, serve cake and call it a day.
It's a sad situation. My aunt has been a widow for about 15 years. She has no children.
She made the choice to stay in Georgia after her husband died. So, no family is close by.
And, in the past 10 years or so, she has kept all of us at arms length, not wanting any company to come for a visit.
My Aunt has been having health problems, both knees have been replaced. She twisted one of them a couple of weeks ago, and was unable to walk, even with a walker.
She spent a few days in the hospital, and they sent her home with a wheelchair. Well, the carpeting in her house is so thick, she was not able to wheel herself to her bedroom.
She slept in the wheel chair for a week, before she called for help! Good grief! No wonder she developed the aneurysm! She freaking brought this on herself, by being such a hard head!
They have her on blood pressure meds to treat it. No talk of surgery, yet.
I don't know what's going to happen. Even if she recovers from this, if she can't walk, she can't live alone in that house.

I have very curly hair that I straighten. It will usually stay straight, however, on the day I wash it, if I spend too much time in humidity, I will need to do a repeat straightening, even with the products. Products are much better than they used to be, and if I don't use the right amount of argan oil my hair will still fluff into its own zip code.

It never mattered what I did to mine, the least bit of moisture and I looked like I had new perm.
