Good morning! Had nails done and went to the local farmers market, then to the grocery store. I'm now enjoying a uninterrupted cup of coffee before I go back to the store to get a important item that I need for tacos. Will be catching up on laundry, changing sheets and making a salsa
Dragged myself out of bed this morning. Still dragging even though I am up and dressed. Wish I had 3hrs to do stuff and then a few hours to nap and then another 3 hrs to do stuff. Maybe tomorrow.
Boring Saturday here. I turned my head wrong and have a horrible crick in my neck now. I've been stuck in bed alternating heat and ice. Getting older stinks😒
Our little city is histing a bbq in a few hours that I'd like to take the girls too if I'm able to move my head by then.
I've cleaned, run errands, and have begun cooking for tomorrow.
I need a nap, but it's too late.

2 cups flour 1 cup milk 1 cup sugar + 1/2 cup 1/2 cup melted butter Roughly 4 cups strawberries
Wash and cut strawberries, in a bowl cover with half cup sugar, stir, set aside.
In a large bowl mix everything else. Poor into a prepared baking dish, add all the strawberries, mix through.
Bake at 425 until done.

The city finally got the water main break
at the watermelon stand fixed - at least
we didn't have to buy water to get through
the outage.
Next Thursday, Friday, and Saturday is the
Watermelon Jubilee - but we're the only
ones who actually have watermelons!
The city contracted with a grower to buy
500 melons - but he won't have enough!
He has lots of cantaloupes, which he has
promised to us. We should make up for
the loss of income during the water
problem. I've pickled and sold over six
cases of jars - people have been coming
back JUST for the pickles! DH is delighted.
