Rained all night, and the temps have stayed above 70. 

It's a steam bath outside.

Something either exploded or crashed at the end of our road.

How do I explain to the dog that it is too windy to go outside and play? (Like seriously. The windows are rattling).

I just got told that my sketchers and converse are inappropriate work attire. Actually, she said 'don't wear runners in session'. Shall I point out that I'd be perfectly fine taking them off? I hate wearing shoes.
