Been up since very early. I am getting all the laundry done so I can get the luggage put away and clothes put away. Errand this afternoon. I have quite the grocery list.
The dog was soo excited last night to see me. Just texted DD to see where she is today. She isn't coming back until late on the 3rd. I am fairly certain they are in the UK (N Ireland).

I've just been messing around the house, nothing spectacular.
Put a big pot of beans on this morning, I'll make cornbread in a little bit, and call it dinner.
IKWTDS, glad you had a good time, and you have these memories with your kids.
Happy Saturday!

Irish/English food is soooooo bland. With exception of fish and chips, the food was just not something to write home about. I think I am going to have a pizza delivered tonight.

So so humid here. It rained for a few minutes and it got even more humid. I've been on call so I had to work a few hours. I'm almost done packing for Florida. I am running out tomorrow for a few final things.
Did an abbreviated version of "Adopt A Highway"
early - very very early -this morning. Our "stretch"
is two miles, but it was so hot and humid, we took
pity on the girls (teens and pre-teens from the Royal
Court) and only did one mile. Its AMAZING how much
trash people will throw on the highway. A couple of
years ago, one of our "pickers" found not one, but TWO
$20 bills~ One of our members has a "mule" - a gas
powered four-seater. She and I went to the far ends
of our stretch, and picked up more than 15 bags of trash.
Came back home and helped DH at the Watermelon
Stand. $10 seedless red watermelons, $5 yellow meat
melons, $5 cantaloupes (huge!), and $5 baskets of
homegrown tomatoes. Plus my pickles. It was a very
successful day.
Only problem is, I had to come home and cook
dinner for the two of us. Ugh. I'm tired.

After all that, it'd been either a cornbread and milk, sandwich, or cereal night.
