Morning, happy 4th! Going to go get my brother in a bit before things get too crazy. The city is changing traffic patterns on the beach roads pretty early. We are just going to hang out on the beach all day. We are going to a party at step mother's condo tonight. Best part is she lives about a 5 minute walk from our hotel. Fireworks over the ocean at 9. Have a great one all!
Happy 4th to all the geeks🎆🎇 already went to a big get together last Saturday, today will have son and family over to grill chicken and have sparklers for the little boys. We won't be doing more then sparklers since the boys are scared of them.
When the boys were little we would shoot off the fireworks after they went to bed. I can't remember their age when they started enjoying them with us. Probably 4 or 5 maybe?
The sun is out, patio hosed off, flags dotted around the pool, onions sliced for the burgers, table set JIC the weather doesn't hold out at mealtime (or it is just too darned hot & humid to eat outside), so I'm ready to party!
Cake is in the oven, almost done, chicken is in the crockpot.
Was going to grill it, but it's just way too hot.

Just took Sonny for a long walk, boy did he stick by my side due the fireworks going off. About to go jump in the neighbor's pool. Then it's all about movie watching. Full day for sure.

I wouldn’t go downtown if you paid me. Last year there were over half a million people. Ain’t gonna do it. We will watch on TV. Plus I have 2 of the babies first thing in the morning, so I won’t be up late...

OMG just had a great dip in my friend's pool. It was just the two of us. So nice. I am now home and in my Jams. DD is still feeling the affects of jet lag and the dog the affects of the constant fireworks. That will be my life tonight taking care of them.

Just dragged in from the watermelon
stand - we sold over 200 melons, plus
80+ cantaloupes, oodles and oodles of
fresh tomatoes, and I've sold out
TWICE on my bread and butter pickles,
plus my newest creation - bread and
butter jalapenos! EVERY customer that
I offered a sample to, bought the B&B
jalapenos! We're exhausted, but it's
nice to count the money in the till!
Got home and canned another dozen
jars of B&B pickles, plus 4 of the
jalapenos. I was going to make some
dill pickles, but I'm just too tuckered
out to do it. Maybe tomorrow.
Fireworks was nice, spending time, one on one, with Caitlyn was nicer.
The traffic cleared quickly, too.
I couldn't find anything about when or where Trump's 4th celebration would be on.
Guess I can watch youtube clips.

I’m so sorry I missed it, at least have recorded it. Did they have problems with protesters? So far two outside groups are investigating if it was wrong To use park funds🙄.
Had kiddie friendly fireworks that wasnt to loud and scary, oldest really enjoyed it but the baby had a look of horror On his sweet little face. He and I went to another part of the yard.
