TGIF. Woken up in the middle of the night by DD and friends making noise in the kitchen. Grrr. They were making snacks and coffee. They did clean up somewhat but not entirely. . They are sleeping in the basement so I just let Sonny go down there. .bwahhaaa

Unfortunately, I'm going to miss the Nadal Federer match. Taking DGD for her driver's license test and it's almost two hours away where we have to go. UGH! More practice for her I guess.

The only time we watched tennis in our home was when the boys were babies and we wanted something to put them to sleep with. Sorry, FWM & FS, but I rank tennis right up there with watching golf and grass grow.
I can watch either if there is nothing else to do, watch, read, listen to, or think about. LOL.
It's been raining since around noon. A nice, soaking, summer rain until 5 minutes ago. It's pretty heavy now, but not terribly.
It's cooler than yesterday, but the rain is still hot. It's like an outdoor shower. Still humid.

Yikes. Near-accident hitting the brakes yesterday actually did something to my neck and spine. Nothing major, just annoying and stiff. I can't imagine what it would be like if we'd actually hit it. New empathy for people who experience actual pain. This is nothing and I'm mentally and internally whining about how it hurts.

Coworker hit a deer at 60 mph this morning. It stepped out in front of her and she didn't even have a chance to react. Airbags deployed and she thinks her hand hit the windshield. Her engagement ring has a bent prong and a missing diamond. I bet she's really going to hurt tomorrow.

DGD finally past her driver's test (second attempt)!!!!!!! She's a happy camper.

Thanks all - I thought about it, but figure if I go to a walk-in they'll tell me that they can't do anything and refer to emerg for x-ray. I don't think that that is totally necessary. I'll give it another day or so and see what happens. I have a giant head (hee hee) so I can see how swinging forward like that would stretch the muscles that support it.
