Today's update: My dog ran and hid in another room while I did my flute practice. Not his favourite time of day. Apparently I was worse today than other days.
DD and I are making trout for dinner from our Hello Fresh latest delivery. Have to eat early since she has a bunch of friends coming over later.
Ordered the flooring for my laundry and 1/2 bath, need to buy a new toilet and vanity. I do have those picked out just need to click "purchase". I may buy a new washer as well but don't need to decide on that yet.

How are you liking the Hello Fresh? I found that everything made enough for 2 meals per person - a friend of mine had it but didn't cook, so she'd bring it over and I would do the cooking and then eat it There were always lots of leftovers too.

It is so awesome. Everything is extremely fresh and perfect portions. DD can eat her whole meal but I can't so I re purpose leftovers into lunch the next day and/or add to breakfast, such as the asparagus or potatoes. I have almost no food waste which was a big angst for me. Best part is DD and I are cooking and chopping together.

That's super cool. I loved how quick and easy it was. The only one I hated was some sort of pad thai thing. The noodles clumped up so badly I wanted to throw them at the wall.

Well not so fast for us. DD insists on doing the prep work, she hasn't gotten to the point of knowing what to do first for the timeline and uses way too many dishes to prepare. She is getting better so that is a great learning experience for her.
I did the prep and all cooking last night, done in 20 minutes. Takes DD a lot longer. She will learn and this is a great way to learn.

I've been wanting to try hello fresh or one of those meal delivery services. After doing some research, home chef seems to get the best reviews. But I'm still scared to dive in
