Fall allergies are trying to act up, my brother's allergies hit him, and it's turned into pneumonia.

Wow. The Archdiocese wants to reimburse me for any out of pocket costs due to #1's accident. So far I've only had to pay $30 which I'm not going to ask for but still....seems very nice.
He got a hard cast put on yesterday. I went with the waterproof one so he can swim and shower, etc. We go back in a couple weeks for a check up. He will need physical therapy.

Had my broken tooth removed on Monday. I'm being diligent with the care instructions but I look forward to being able to use straws again. Eating is ... fun ... but getting easier.

My boss got a big nursing award yesterday and the department got an award as well for being a part of when we did that little ceremony for that marine who missed recruit graduation several weeks ago.
It's national cheeseburger day. I got mine. It was yummy.
