Up earlier than I want to be, but Monster really needed out apparently.
Might as well stay up.
Doctor's appointment this afternoon, just a cadiac check up.
Nothing else planned.
Hopefully I can go back to bed after Jesse leaves for work.
Happy Monday.

Last day of September. October staring us in the face. Where has the year gone? Consumption tax goes up to 10% tomorrow. The government sponsored "cashless" shopping plan goes in effect, also. A rather complicated plan that is designed to have a rebate of 2% - 5% if you use some kind of electronic money (including credit cards). Oh, wait a minute the large supermarkets and stores are not included in this - only mama-papa stores and small chains. It just gets muddier and muddier the more you read. Love the government. Also our 49th Wedding anniversary tomorrow. And a new contract for my ISP goes into effect.

Karl sounds as if the motivation is to boost local small business. Has there been an issue with mom& pops having rough times? They are giving the small business an advantage but perhaps to help them be more competitive price wise?

DS had his first experience with the dentist's drill today. He said his tooth hurt yesterday so we called the dentist this morning since he was due for a cleaning anyway. He had 2 small cavities on his two back teeth. He grunted when the dentist gave him the novacaine shot but didn't make a peep when the drill came out. Just laid back, closed his eyes, and followed directions. Makes me happy to know he doesn't freak out at the sound of the drill.
His adult teeth are coming in. It was quite a trip to see the x-rays. It's so neat how the adult teeth just sit on top of the baby teeth ready to come through whenever. Dentist wants him to start flossing so we got him some floss sticks to make it easier. He's happy enough to give them a go.
