It's a day of doctor appointments for all us old people.
Physical for dad, urologist for me, chiropractor for mom.
That's all we do now.

TV has been filled all day with warnings of the typhoon that is expected to landfall on Yokohama and Tokyo this weekend. Listed as a "super typhoon" or a category 5 hurricane everyone is really excited and upset. Just a month ago a strong typhoon hit Chiba prefecture (east of Tokyo) and tore off thousands of roofs, downed almost all electric poles, etc. Still a mess and they will get some of this typhoon this weekend. We are battered down as much as we can be and just hope for the best. The wind worries me, but heavy rain worries me more as the storm drains are not as good as they could be and run off is slow at best.. Will let you know in a couple of days (or not) depending on what has happened.
Lily, you and your family are keeping the medical profession in business. Hope things today work out OK. How is that chiropractor? Had some work done years ago by one and swear by them.
Gosh, Karl. Ya'll stay safe and let us know you are ok on the other side of this thing. I'll keep you, and your fellow countrymen, in my prayers.
And, yes, we do seem to keep the doctors fat around here, but that happens with age, I guess.
Mom says the chiropractor is really helping her. When she had her knee replaced, it threw everything out of alignment. She is walking straighter.
I would love to go to one, and I may after the first of the year. It's impossible to get in with one this time of year.

Shower is nearly done. Rest of the room next week including the raised shower glass door. this replaces they ugly blue 70's shower. Cracking up on how the two pics are posted, looks as thought I have a double shower.
