Safe travels Lindley.

Went to a car show this morning. First time ever seeing a c1930 Pierce-Arrow. Gorgeous car, very luxurious. Probably worth about 180K, beautifully restored. Not many of those cars around.

Need to grocery shop next and then take the dog for a walk.

Hey, yall. I did another thread about Caitlyn's shower, she's doing well, thank you for asking Lindley.

She is having a lot of trouble with her hips. They've always bothered her, but the weight and preasure is making it worse.

She has decided she never wants to be pregnant again. She is very sure of that.

Goodbyes are hard.

Have you ever heard the story about enough and goodbyes? It's a tear jerker.

I love car shows. So much fun, and the most interesting people.

Hope you got home safely! Goodbye's are difficult for me. Whenever I was in my LDR phase, I would do curbside drop off to avoid some of all that.

Thanks! am home now and my daughter text me that the oldest had some tearful moments throughout the day, she too has trouble saying good by. Lily I haven’t heard of the book but will check it out. I’m sure at this stage of pregnancy its Understandable to believe one will never have anymore.

I guess she is, I hope she doesn’t regret it later on. I reread your post, sounds like she is in pain.

Of course she can change her mind until they sedate her to do it. She'll have 6 weeks after the birth to decide.

But I'll be surprised if she does change her mind.

She says she wants more kids, they just won't come from her. She wants to adopt.

She's also thinking fiscally.

What is the fiscal difference lily? Kikd are kids, each expensive to raise. I cringe she may make an emotional decision she may regret later.

Hi, Lily ~
The prep is awful!
We lost our a/c early Thursday
morning, and the insurance
adjuster hasn't made a date
to come. Actually, it is the
third adjuster. I finally got
hold of him today, and he will
"try" to come out today.
Honestly, the temps here in
south Texas are too high to
try and do anything, especially
not with the oven. At least we
have a small window unit we
can put in the bedroom, but
that doesn't help me at all in
the kitchen. The microwave
will be getting a lot of use in
the next several days.

We had a small cold front come
through last night, so today is
not quite so bad. I've opened
all the windows, we're getting
a little bit of a cross breeze.

I was planning on using these
days to pre-bake the shells for
some of the hors d'oeuvres,
but that will have to wait until
we have the a/c back up and
running. Oh well. I guess I
work well under time pressure.

Lil, my nephew and his wife 🙏🏻adopted and it wasn’t any cheaper then having their biological child, in fact their bio child was covered by insuranc. A lot of agencies you cover the medical and hospital expense or at least a good chunk of it.it’s wonderful that she wants to adop, but it wouldn’t be cheaper and to adopt a foster child isn’t easy since the courts majority of the time wants to reunite the family unless the bio parents choose to terminate their right.  I’m not trying to be a downer, but she needs to research the cost of adoptions and both the upsides and downsides of adopting and by downsides I mean the cost not the child.

When I say fiscally, I mean 1 child, if she never adopts, is cheaper than having more kids. Over the years, 1 is cheaper.
