Was it cancerous, Trudy? Hope you feel better today.
The boys had their first dance last night. #1 wasn't feeling it. The music was too loud, he didn't want to dance, he was bored, etc. Not what he expected. I wish I had given him my phone so he could have called me to come pick him up.
He got up on stage in Jamaica and did The Floss for several minutes. Have the YouTube video to prove it. He laughed when someone asked if he was not out there because he didn't know how to dance. They were doing Fornite dances. He's a pro at those. I'm not really sure why he wasn't feeling it. Maybe tired? The music was pounding loud and that bothered him, too. Maybe he has sensitive hearing. The rock concert on the cruise was a bit loud for him, too, but he tolerated it. Complained later.
Maybe #1 is simply in that "I'm too mature" frame of mind.
It's raining! Has been since around 1 this morning. There are puddles in the yard.
Trying to decide what to do about supper. I'm thinking soup.

Good afternoon! I’m sorry for both having a hurtful procedure done, but having to come to work because your employee can’t handle her job, hope you heal quickly Trudy. I didn’t like loud music even at your sons age fnw, hello ikwtd and lily 👋🏻
Woke up feeling icky this morning, got my nails done and went with dil and grandsons to the pumpkin patch and it was so cold, it was fun though happy that I got to go twice with each group of grandchildren.
Ladies, and Karl, it's cold. I may have to turn the heat up a bit.
Or put my winter housecoat on.
It's 57, the real feel is 54.

Oh, Lily, already getting wintery. Ugh....
Poured rain here all day long and I managed to catch a cold so I am half asleep from cold medications. Teach me to go out in the rain.
Sorry to hear that, Karl. Chicken soup and sleep for you.
Not wintery yet. For us, anyway.
Two weeks ago it was 100+, now it's in the 50s. Just need to acclimate.

It's going to be in the mid-50's
tomorrow for the parade. Hope
all the littles get bundled up. It
should warm up to the mid 80's.
I made instant chocolate mousse,
date nut bread (my Mother's
recipe) and banana bread, 'cause
I was given 6 very very ripe
bananas! I anticipate a very large
turn-out for the baked goods
contest - I'm prepared for over
60!
Super wind storm today. Knocked out power, cancelled ferry sailings, parks closed. Calmed now though. Also major climate rally, hockey game and 3 major theater shows in the downtown core. Impassable by car 11am- about now. Transit only. City is in chaos. Had a lovely evening of theater and drinks with a friend, though.
