It's 68, it says the real feel is 63. I don't believe it. The air is hot.

Not hot here. Just dreary and now it's raining. The leaves have finally turned, but aren't as brilliant as they usually are because September was so dry. Still, it's pretty. It's supposed to rain for trick or treating tomorrow. Fine with me. DH was taking #2 out but #2 knows if it's raining he can hit only a few houses, depending on how hard it's raining. He's fine with that. He knows the houses where they give out the full-sized bars. LOL
There were a few times we couldn't trick or treat, so I'd have a "party" for the kids.
My church postponed last week's fall festival til this Saturday, but it's supposed to be really cold this weekend.

Such a dreary, grey day today and very damp. Rain is moving in overnight and supposed to go through most of the day tomorrow. Trick-or-treat here was moved to tonight. No one every knocks on the doors in this complex. We're too far removed from the cities and no children live in the complex. As I was coming home from work though, I had to go through the one city and the kiddies were all out in their costumes. Sooooo cute. Going door-to-door now-a-days is a thing of the past. But, the businesses downtown all come out with treats for the kids.
Dreary here too, but it's fine. DD cooked dinner. It was a rice / chicken bowl with diced tomato, cilantro and a medium spicy green pepper and a few other ingredients. So delish.
Good news today from the doc. I met with the surgeon and I do not have Melanoma, just regular old skin cancer. i know I have not told any of you before but the first diagnosis really got me down. So surgery and hoping it didn't spread, he did check my for nodes and didn't find any. It is not in a good area but hoping the surgery goes well.

I am sorry to hear this but glad it wasn't melanoma.
Years ago when I had a positive pap I asked for the report which read, "squamous cells may be present." I looked up squamous cells and saw that it was on the skin. I was pretty upset and told my mother. Her response, "I told you to keep your legs together when you're sunbathing." I LMAO'd.

It is squamous cell and I had that pap recently too. So I am sure it's related but appears most have been caught and the spread will be stopped.

Thanks everyone. Hoping I will be fine. But already told DS that he and I need to make sure all assets are in good shape with the beneficiary thing. I already have a Trust set up and DS is executor. I do need to do more though due to Mom's Trust distribution. Yep years after her death it just happened. Never use PNC.
