Went to church and bought the White House Christmas ornaments I give out and ordered pies for Thanksgiving. There was a fundraiser for the church's work group so we figured we would support them this year. Then DH & I went to another Holiday craft show. It was huge and fun, but a little disappointing in that they didn't have a lot of Christmas decorations, just a lot of regular decor, jewelry, food etc.
My parents are taking us to dinner tonight to celebrate my birthday.

It's been a very chilly, gray day here in my neck of the woods. Been busy working around the house. Got four of the six dining room chairs reupholstered. My back and hand are killing me and a got a big blister on the inside of my thumb from the damn staple gun (no, it's not an electric one). But, it's worth it. They look pretty damn good, if I must say so myself! lol Once they're done, I'll be moving on to hemming, or redesigning, some silk curtains I'd bought a couple years ago for that room. I need to come up with a plan for that. Unfortunately, I don't have a sewing machine so that'll all be done by hand as well. I'm getting too old for this crap. hahaha
I went and saw Waitress tonight. It was great - super talented cast. A bit of a morality/ethically challenging plot, but it's fiction. A supporting character really stole the show for me though. She had a fully realized character with body posture and everything, and stayed in it for the entire show. I was mesmerized!
