Took Monster to the vet this morning, healthy and up to date on everything.
Tomorrow he gets a spa day.
It's a day of finding a place for everything, and putting everything in its place.

Been a long time since I made a pumpkin pie from scratch, but I'm doing it this year. Mainly because the pie pumpkins were free, but, they are halved, scooped, and roasting in the oven.

I agree with fnw, a baby brings nostalgia and you are wanting to pass along family traditions to your granddaughter. No grandsons today so I’m making a pumpkin rum cake, saw it on the pioneer woman and I really hope it turns out.
Well the pumpkin rum cake was a big flop😢. I don’t know what went wrong, but I followed it to a t. It came out not done enough. The directions said 350, 45 minutes and even let it bake another 15. It looked so good when she made it.

There was an old tv chef/cook who always included alcohol in all his recipes. He said it was for the cook, mostly. He'd put a little bit in whatever, and then take a big drink. He was so funny, especially toward the end of his show.

THat's sad about Myrical - I've not watched tonight yet - because there are some others I would like to see out first. I think that Joana looks and sounds like the Disney brand. I didn't like Hello Sunday either. For a long time I thought they were just keeping them around as a gimmic, but then i liked them but now they're not so great. Of course, they're 13, soooooo yeah. They rock.
