Happy boxing day! Off till Monday. Enjoying a relaxing day. I went to the grocery store and two cars making left turns in opposing directions crashed right in front of me. That was my sign to go home and stay where it's safe.
I was bad. I slept in this morning. I failed to wake up in time to pack lunches for Wayne and Paul. Oh well, they are big boys. They will just have to buy their lunch today.
I'm doing some laundry, and taking it easy for the rest of the day.
We have enough leftovers that I'm off the hook for cooking dinner.
DD is at the mall. I have to pick her and her friend up later this afternoon. I've cleaned up the hall closet and put all the winter boots in there and have put the gifts away. I have a pile of boxes / trash in the kitchen and will be bringing it all down to the garage today. Trash day tomorrow. It all won't fit this week but should be taken care of next week.

Today is my last day having a 5 year old. Taking DS to Medieval Times for his birthday tomorrow. First 60 kids get to have a half hour training session with the knights. We plan to be there early to ensure DS is one of the 60 kids. All kids who participate get knighted after the training session. DS says he's going to win against the knight.
He did a Build a Bear for his birthday this year. We put the song we always sang to him when he was a baby on the voicebox in the bear. He named his bear Aladdin. They have scents now. DS picked out a birthday cake scent. He says he wants the panda from Ryan's World next. We told him maybe for his kindergarten graduation.

Boxing Day is a tradition in England. The servants are given the 26th off to celebrate their Christmas after presumably serving all the guests of their masters on Christmas day. They box up meals for their masters for the 26th since they won't be there to cook.
