Still freezing rain here. I should be done working in an hour. The off to do errands. Been a long week for sure.
The freezing we had made it impossible for the to go out. He cried at the door as I spread ice melt and then waited a few minutes to let it work. Did the trick. He was happy. Need to put the melt on the driveway. Every night we go well below freezing. It is so not safe.

Good afternoon, I hope you all will get a break from this nasty weather soon, 39 degrees here, but at least the snow has melted. Had my nails done and went to lunch with some friends and now I’m home. Husband is out of town till Wednesday or Thursday.
My neighbors daffodils are blooming! It's a glorious display of bright, sunny, yellow!

Colton, my nephew, leaves on deployment Monday, I believe.
I have all but lost my voice. Sore throat, deep cough, all over yuckiness. It's been coming on for a while. I'm thinking a lot of the flare up I've been dealing with is whatever this is.

My seed came today. I'm going to try to grow some vegetables. I may have to put fencing around to keep varmits out, but we'll see. I'll try without first.
We are still alive here. The temp is 21 degrees, damp and chilly. I'm tired of all the winter we've had already.
Flooding has begun. DS and his family will have to detour around some of the flooding to make it here tomorrow. Oh well, we were expecting more flooding anyway. We are strangely used to this...

IKWTDS, glad you dog is smart enough to wait for the de-icer to work, our dog is an idiot, lol. Sorry you are dealing with so much ice. Hate that stuff.

HDD was in a car accident yesterday. She has a concussion and is being well cared for. Made for a very long day for all of us. Her caregiver feels just awful. She didn't make anyone put on their set belts...sigh. That's a big no-no in my book. Anyway, that was yesterday..
The grands will be here in a few minutes, so my few minutes to myself are gone, lol.

Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
Czech I didn't know HDD could drive , just a surprise. Good thing all are ok.
I ended this week with more OT. It's fine. They asked me to cut down to going into the office 1 day a week or not at all and if need be to go in and use a "huddle room". We are out of office space again. Hiring at an incredible rate and they want the newbies to have office space to learn processes and get in tune with their teams. Makes sense. I will be driving to different campuses (office locations) 1-2 times a week to meet with some of the different teams to support and just work from home the rest of the time. Works for me since the commute times are outside rush hour. Not an issue obviously for my work reputation since keep assigning me more work. I sure hope this continues until I retire.

A caregiver not having vulnerable clients put a seat belt on in a car would make that person no longer a care giver in my book. I don't care how bad they feel. I'm glad she's okay Czech. And good to see you!
Absolutely dumping rain today. They said it would taper off this afternoon and evening, but this is more. Dogs think it's my fault and I should stop it. Maybe I'll take them out under an umbrella.
