Any thoughts on fixing me? I don't have a sore throat, I'm not sick, no cough no fever. Also no voice. Like seriously - nothing above a whisper. Fix me?
Only flavors like strawberry,
cherry, watermelon, coffee,
or the like. What this does
is make your mouth create
more saliva, which, as you
swallow, washes down any
secretions from your sinus
cavity and over your vocal
cords, without letting them
stay and irritate them.
This was taught to me by my
voice coach back in the early
60's. It still works.
Sounds like laryngitis. The best thing is no talking.
Whispering makes it worse.
Laryngitis is a swelling of your vocal cords, so they need rest.
Ibuprofen helps, you can gently gargle with warm salty water, but very gently. And cold foods and drinks. Stay away from dairy, though.
Caitlyn and I both deal with laryngitis from time to time. The best, and fastest cure, is no talking of any kind.

I went into the office today. 12 hour day. Just got done an hour ago. Tomorrow and next week might be tough but then perhaps into normal mode.
I was burnt out when done. But I did rock the files I had to create. Many peeps are pleased with them. As much as I don't want to work OT, at least I get paid straight time for it and it beefs up DD's college savings and my own savings. So that is good.
DS will be here this time tomorrow night. excited.

Was hoping the doctor or at least my DIL was hoping that the doctor, was going to induce her labor, but he wants to wait till next week to decide.
