Good morning.

If it were not so damp, we could have had the windows open the last two nights.

Right now, both the frogs and birds are singing.

Happy Thursday.

Good morning Lily, and all the Geeks!

Yesterday was a rain out.

But sunny and 71 is what they are calling for today.

I need to do some laundry, and a few chores.

I hope everyone has a good day!smile

It was Mittens birthday yesterday! She is 1! Of course GG was out buying cupcakes this morning. She had tried to lick the wounds. So funny! I get her to stop.

Then she sleeps on me.

What should I rub on the scar? I am going to the skin doc tomorrow. Hopefully the stiches come out.

Vitamin E oil. It's amazing for scars. I've used it lots of times.

Thank goodness. And since they are going to keep Tulsi out of the next debate, we'll get to watch 2 old white guys vie to go up against another old white guy.

Can we have some competent, decent women in the next election? Tulsi can come back. I like her. Don't know if I'd vote for her since she's Dem, but at least she's sane.

I fell this morning walking the dog. Went to step off the curb, and actually caught my foot on it and went down into the road. Luckily no cars that early. I had to lay there a few minutes and take stock of everything. I twisted my ankle, skinned my knee and hand, bruised my hip and shoulder. Lots of fun. Dog stood over me wondering what was wrong. Then he let me grab on to him to get up. Just one reason to love big dogs.

 Ouch! Glad it wasn't worse.

We have 4 gallons of milk. At least we won't run out. Making pancakes for dinner.

Caitlyn and I are going to Pigeon Forge tomorrow night after she gets off work. Just for 1 night, but it'll be good to get out of town a bit. Going shopping for Jewel's first Easter dress.

I'm feeling so much better. Still have a few more days of antibiotics, but it's a night and day difference in how I felt Sunday.

Now, if we could get some sunshine.

 I so agree on Tulsi.

This story reminds me of my Friend's elderly MIL.  MIL lived with her. About 2  years ago as I was taking Sonny for a walk MIL was getting the mail (her only daily trip out of the house).  She bent down to pet Sonny and fell off the curb. she fell down on her head and knees.  I called 911 and the paramedics arrived within 2 minutes. I didn't have time to alert my friend since I was sitting on the road with the MIL comforting her.

TMI, but I am so thankful LL that you had the dog with you.

Sorry to hear about that, LL. I do not know what happens but it seems like sometimes we just make a kind of misstep. I find myself stumbling sometimes, but you are too young for much of that. Take care. Glad the dog was there to help.

My shoulder hurts pretty bad this morning. It's taking the focus off my knee.  biggrin
