I need more coffee. Going to be just another day here. No visiting with family. But, I plan to make a small ham and some other fixings for myself while I'm doing laundry and cleaning / tidying up a bit.
It looks like it's going to be a pretty nice day but it's a chilly start with temps in the low 30s for now. Storms are moving in for overnight and through tomorrow; some pretty severe with tornado warnings for tomorrow, which is definitely unusual for my area. And, of course, I have to work tomorrow. UGH! Thankfully it's only a 4.5 hour shift first thing in the morning so I should be home before the major portion of this storm hits . . . I think.
The boys got their baskets filled with chewing gum, completed the egg hunt (150 eggs hidden, each containing some money), and now I'm getting ready for Mass. It's cool out and overcast so far. We're going to surprise my parents with a visit, from the car.
We dodged the bullet with the hail
that was forecast for our area last
night. Baseball size hail about an
hour from us, but we didn't even
get any rain.
Had a wonderful ZOOM Easter service
with about half our congregation signing
on. We're practicing "physical", not
"social" distancing!
Quarantine sucks. It's 9am and I've finished all my tasks. Technically it is my 'one essential trip out' day, but I have to wait until this afternoon so that my prescription is ready.
It's a tumultuous day. It's dark, rainy, and feels like a storm is brewing. Tornado watches are already out for this area through morning.
Hope everyone enjoys their day.

The visit was fun. We were all happy to see each other while maintaining social distance. Sad we couldn't hug each other, but nice to at least say hello face to face.
Caitlyn is making dinner, a seafood boil. With hush puppies and roasted vegetables.
Yum!

Just spent about 40 minutes in the hallway. Power is out. The threat passed us by.
We are under watches for 🌪️ and flooding.
Hey Karl. Glad to hear the numbers are going down in your corner of the world.

That line of storms is moving in my direction for the overnight and early morning hours. Possible tornadoes and extremely high winds. I have to go out in this tomorrow morning for work! UGH! I may have to put weights in my pockets to walk from the parking lot into the store. lol
FS, it's moving really fast. Hopefully it'll be over soon for all of us.

Lily, it's happening now. Man that wind is whipping and it is pouring. I don't think it'll be over before I have to leave for work in an hour. *sigh* Weather reports are saying it could last until 3:00 p.m. with pounding rain, hale, winds 60+, etc. I'll be in it going to and coming from work if that's the case. UGH Using an umbrella to stay dry will not be a good idea. I'll be drenched unless I can find my rain jacket. lol Hope you survived it!
