Morning! Already cleaned out the shed, finished the yard and made two trips to the dump. Cleaned the floor mats in the car since the vacuums have been closed at my car wash and there is a load of stuff for donating. When we run out we will drop the stuff off, pick up prescriptions and lunch. Busy morning!
We had perfect sleeping weather this morning. We all took advantage of it.
It's windy now, and cool.
I need to find something fun to do.

Make sure where you are donating is taking donations. Our local SA is not, but the whole front of the building is floor to ceiling with stuff. It'll all be thrown away. Everything.

Goodwill is accepting. Not my favorite charity but I wanted the stuff gone! They are reopening Saturday. My neighbor works there and has been going in every day for a few weeks bringing donations in and sanitizing them. The clothing and s sorted and isolated for a specific time.

Ours stopped taking donations last Saturday. They ran out of room.

The back room is so full!! The “owner” of this one is all about getting products out on the floor. It’s sickening. He won’t give up a dime. Neighbor has been working by himself past few weeks. He won’t even let one more person be there.
Goodwill, at least when I worked there, was great.
Nothing went to the floor until it was sent to the main center for cleaning and repairs. Employees were not allowed to purchase anything until it was on the sales floor.
Caitlyn worked for SA, and she said perfectly good clothing was left to rot if it didn't fit on racks. They bundled up a lot of clothing and sold it other countries.
And employees could save things in the back to buy before it was put on the floor.

They aren’t allowed to buy anything. Period. There were huge problems with employees holding all the good stuff for themselves and pricing it for .25. They can’t hold anything for friends or family either. A bunch of people got fired. Nothing normally gets sanitized. I don’t go in this shop anymore. It smells so bad. It’s usually filthy.

GREAT news. DS' house went on the market Monday. Today he has a signed P&S with a closing in 3 weeks. Such a monkey off the back. His job starts Monday.

It really is Lily. We go in the one in between ours and the one on Hilton Head. It’s run by a different group. Weird, but it’s much better. I like looking for treasures.

I am excited for him, he wanted to come back here but had to do the hard thing moving to OH for the career thing. And now he has a promotion in the same industry back here. I was so stressed about him having to sell the house in these times but it turned out well fingers crossed the sale goes through. My guess is if the buyers want such a fast close they are paying mostly cash.
