Another storm rolled through last night. But, it's going to be a mild, sunny day today.

The sun is out, but it's 51. Waiting for it to warm up so we can turn the pool heater on. It's electric, so it freezes up if I run it and the outside temps are below 60 or so.

Morning.

I need to do some errands, but I'm a bit dizzy. I think I slept to hard with my neck in an odd position. It's already better.

I hear lawn mowers, so it isn't raining, but it isn't sunny, either.

 Oh my goodness I hate that so so so so much.  And it's our biggest export!  Check your bylaws - there are laws here about how close you can be to residential areas.  If they are too close to your house you can get them to move.

Well, I just got the call. Eye surgery has been scheduled for Thursday the 7th. Finally gonna get my eye fixed.

Yay for your surgery NJN! I guess things are slowly returning to normal-ish. Trudy have you ever heard of a fear free vet? We don’t have any here but I’ve heard about them.

I fell February 27th and the optimal time to operate so there would be no permanent damage was two weeks. We are well past that time. Each day that passes risks me losing movement in my eye so I'm really glad it's being done.

Back from town.

There were more people out, but most wore masks, and everyone is still keeping a distance.

Bought up some meats. Our pantry and freezers are full. It feels good. Mom actually started complaining. I said "we are blessed with abundance, praise the Lord", she didn't say anything else.

Bought Jewel a splash pad. It was only $12. It isn't huge, but it's big enough for her to play on.

I bought me some shorts, a couple dresses, and underwear. There were some nice sales going on. Still haven't found a slip, I'm going to order one.

Yeah Tig! Thank you all. I broke my eye socket and there's a fissure in my cheekbone now. My eye muscle is slowly slipping downward into the hole and unable to support my eye anymore. My eyes no longer sit at the same height. One is lower than the other. I, fortunately, did no damage to my actual eyeball or retina. My eye was filled with blood for two weeks but that slowly dissipated and was reabsorbed. They are going to cut into my eyelid and place a mesh liner into my cheek to support my eye. Then they will exit out my nose.

 My dad had socket reconstruction about 7 years ago. It took maybe an hour. He did have some complications about a month later, his body tried to reject the material. So if you have ANY questions, please call your doctor immediately.

Good evening everyone! Did something happen to mittens? Glad you found a vet for her that you like Trudy, glad you are getting your surgery njn and ouch! Hello momala, ikwtd,fnw,fwm, lily, sb, and tig....

I’m really tired, soon to be two year old is having some attitude issues lately, I understand that he is dealing with life changes by getting a baby sister and all the emotions of having to share attention and the normal tantrums two year olds have, but he is killing me. He doesn’t get by with it and I know it will pass. The baby is such a little sweet baby girl and already cooing.
