Happy Friday!

I can't believe Cate is 3 today! They are going to have her birthday party tomorrow.

Today, she's coming down to play with Grandma.

It's hot and muggy, so I imagine she'll be in her pool again, today.

It's foraging Friday, so I don't have to cook. Yay!

Aww 3 is such a great age. I wish I was 3 again.

Friday off. Have a bunch of errands to do. DD's school books have to be turned this morning plus she has her annual Doc appointment.

Ugh. That was a disaster. Went to Boston. The whole city is boarded up. We got him in on time. Anyway they are talking surgery. Has to go see another guy. Pretty sad about the whole thing.

Can he see? What did they say other than surgery?

FWIW, my mother had eye surgery when she was in her late 20's/early 30's for a tumor that was on the white part but growing towards the cornea. It worked and she never had a problem since.

No he can't see at all out of his left eye. They did all sorts of tests. Zero. Nothing. He really failed everyone.

Oh, so my sister texted me today and asked if we were still planning on going to see my parents tomorrow. I said yes. She said Dallas is exploding with new cases of covid-19 due to increased testing. I thought SO? First, it's not like those cases weren't there. It's just due to more tests. Second, my parents live an hour and a half outside Dallas. She said they're just trying to keep my parents safe. I don't live in Dallas. I'm not sure what that was all about.

Jewel has a doctor's appointment in a little bit. Poor baby is hoarse, and she just doesn't act like she feels her best.

Rain earlier this morning, sun is out now, but we might get more rain later.

I'm not cooking tonight, either.

 I would be scared too.  I think I could deal with hearing loss, but not my eyesight.

 Tylenol as needed. 

I hate when they are sick, too.

She's sleeping in my lap right now.

tylenol was my go to for teething and still is for fevers. But I try to let the fever run its course. It can be scary for sure.

Thank you. Yes. Fevers in little ones, especially when they can't talk yet, is scary.

Thankfully, she hasn't had a fever.
