Good Morning, everyone.
Got the 2nd load of laundry
in the washer - not much
else is planned for today,
except making more hot &
sweet pickled jalapenos - I
sold out again!
Work is slow today, it will pick up later in the week.
The painter is coming to paint the living room. DD hates the color, its called sterling white. I like it and that is all that matters. I may have her paint the brick fireplace white. Its taken me a long time to be comfortable painting the brick.

I'm going to throw some cubed steak in the oven later. Maybe. If I feel like it.
Happy Monday.

Went to the neurologist today. I tested positive for Lyme Disease.

Sorry NJN. At least you have some answers now.
Yes. Answers are good! And thank you everyone. No. It doesn't seem like I catch a break. But this is something treatable. AND the balance issues are most likely related to it. It is characterized by extreme fatigue, muscle weakness, joint aches, unsteady and uneven gait, headaches, and some other things. It often presents as MS. It was one of the routine things he tested me for. And it can be cured if the damage isn't too bad. So I start treatment tomorrow. A month long course of antibiotic treatment. My pituitary gland also came back abnormal so there will be some further testing on that.

Thanks Momala. I guess it hasn't really sunk in yet. My PT guy was thrilled. He said we have a diagnosis and we can come back from this. This is good. I also brought him some paperwork he had been wanting so he was in heaven. He has become my sounding board. He got to know DH when he used to take me to therapy when I couldn't drive yet. He even worked on DH's elbow free of charge. I told him for so long DH and some others have been telling me I'm a drama queen and a hypochondriac that this doesn't even feel real. I've had such joint and muscle aches for so long and just finally pushed it aside because people didn't believe me. Now I'm finding out it wasn't all in my head so it's kind of surreal. I just got to where I stopped saying anything because I was looked at like a cry baby. It wasn't until I started falling repeatedly that doctors began to listen. The therapist says that I became a financial liability to the insurance and that's why they paid for all the tests. My hospital bills were starting to add up so they decided that they needed to find out why I was falling so much. Anyway, the doc said it might all get worse before it gets better and the therapist says we'll adjust to suite what happens. He's a great guy. When I broke my arm I had no movement in it at all. I couldn't lift it an inch. He used to raise my arm and say, "Now hold it there." My arm would drop immediately. After about nine months of therapy I have 95% of the use of my arm back. I would have never thought it was possible. I mean, it was so bad I couldn't even write my own name. Now I can pretty much do it all. So I trust him. We're going to continue to work on my balance issues.
