I will just have the baby on Friday. Will be a slow day. Thursday I should have six though. I am tired. The dog slept all on top of me and my neck and back are all out of sorts.

I'm getting ready to for my orthopedics appointment.
Slept like a log last night, and could not wake up this morning. It's amazing how the body just shuts down and rests when it gets to tired.
It's humid and hot, storms are close by.
Happy Monday.

They will replace my knees, one at a time, as soon as I get clearance from a dentist, my primary doctor, and my cardiologist.
I have no cartilage in either knee, none, and so many bone spurs they are almost frozen.
This is going to be a long process.

Just got back from Greenbrier. It was fabulous! About half the guests wore masks. Most socially distanced. Now we see if any of us caught COVID.
Did you have a nice time? Did you eat amazing food?

Yes, we had a great time. The food was outstanding.
The boys went on a ropes course, 45 feet in the air. I watched. I would have done it, but for $145 per person, I figured I could sit this one out. Later that day the four of us did the mountaineer experience. I found a new skill-archery. It came natural to me. Then we threw tomahawks. That was not as easy. Then we shot rifles. The boys loved it.
The next day we spent the morning bowling. In the afternoon, they went on a carriage ride with my parents and DH & I toured the bunkers. Very interesting. A 30 year secret. We found it funny, and not in a good way, that the Washington Post was the one who exposed it. Another example of how they don't care about the security of our nation.
We took a detour home to stop and see the Natural Bridge. It was beautiful.
Now we wait 14 days and see if any of us got the plague.
DH and I spent the afternoon
in a neighbor's tomato patch.
We picked 60 pounds of the
most delicious tomatoes you
could ever ask for. One slice
will fill a piece of regular white
bread - all you need is a little
mayo and some salt & pepper.
Yummmmmmm !
This week will be our money
maker. We'll be open Tuesday
through Monday - hope to get
all the people traveling down
to the coast. Long days, but
it will pay for our real estate
taxes - hopefully!
